I have never seen a more uninteresting election season

As NSW residents prepare to vote this weekend, I must say I have never seen an election cycle as uninteresting as this. The Lib's are rolling out their biggest asset; John Howard, and Labor have a leader who's been in the job for about 5 minutes.
I thought I should inform myself of what's happening in this state by watching the 'leaders debate' on the ABC. For a program that only ran 30 minutes, lo and behold I was asleep in about 15 minutes. Each leader was seated facing the interviewer Brigit Glandville, the ABC's political reporter and answering her questions only. They each faced her to answer each question and I was taken aback by each Glady's and Michael's responses. Quite apart from the fact that I notice each has a pretty poor command of our English language, if you listen carefully enough you will notice that they constantly mispronounce such mundane words words as 'community'.
I am not one to knock someones inability to pronounce a particular word, but a politician in 2019 must be able to speak about the community with some confidence especially if they think they will make a good law maker, able to build community consensus. I'm not convinced our current crop of poly's are any good for us and I'm not the only one expressing this concern. Whilst the NSW government is ripping people off building private tollways with public money, signing the people up to contracts for more than two generations (43 years), blowing up perfectly good stadiums for rich sports spectators who don't want to build anything with their own money, only public money and to top it all off they create National Parks BY STEALTH and refuse to pay just terms compensation to those effected. A former very well respected Chief Justice of the High Court has commented on the unacceptable amount of legal rules created by 'governments passing an orgy of legislation'. Fancy that, if even our High Court can't keep up with the amount of laws being passed, HOW THE HELL can John Citizen be expected to keep up? Selling us a 20 billion dollar tollway and signing us up to annual greater than CPI increases over 43 years is like selling us a brand new Toyota Eco for the price of a private jet and making us pay it off for the next 43 years !! Totally unacceptable, If it were a simple contract between two people it would have been rendered 'unfair' and void by any court.
I've written extensively about Australia's political woes being governed by a small exclusive 'political class' who think they know best for the lot of us and I pray it will be coming to an abrupt end very soon. It will, but only when a majority wake up to the fact that we are being currently governed by 'a bunch of criminals' hell bent on dismantling whatever little independent freedoms we currently enjoy.

Australia needs a constitutionally enshrined Bill of Rights to truly limit the activity of government which is becoming ever more pervasive each and every day in each and every aspect of our lives.
Vote INDEPENDENT or Minor Parties to be able to hold our governments to account.
Don't believe the garbage from the Major parties, they are not your 'friends' and they are wholly beholden to their political donors, no one else.
